We wanted to say how pleased we were with our daughter's care. As we use another nursery on different days we naturally compare her experience and ours. Of particular note is the variety and quality of art and also the sheer amount of fun and energy that her room seems to enjoy. On top of this, we feel that the staff are the most natural we have met in both their manner to us and our daughter and we feel this is so much more valuable than a fixed tone of voice or pasted smile. We feel comfortable at Starfish and our daughter, as far as she is able to tell to tell us, seems to agree. A happy, normal place."
"We have two children at the nursery (ages two and a half and ten months) and have been very happy with the quality of the care that they both receive throughout their time at Tassel Road Day Nursery. Staff take an active interest in the children holistically and make time with us as parents to explore the child's special interests which can then be incorporated into one-to-one activities during the nursery day. Parents' mornings, individual handover on a day-to-day basis and the child's learning journey folders all ensure two-way communication between the nursery and family. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to others."
"Our daughter started nursery at seven months old and is now two. On her nursery mornings she gets very excited about going to see the staff and her playmates. We chose Footsteps because of the options available e.g. early starts but more importantly because of the friendly team working there.
Each day we have felt that the room team and her key worker have had the time to tell us about what she has been doing and her achievements whilst we have always been able to discuss any concerns and the changes she is going through.
